ESG will provide operations, maintenance and management of three wastewater treatment plants—Spears Creek (6.0 MGD), Stoops Creek (2.0 MGD), and a 12-acre oxidation pond (0.288 MGD) and septage receiving station. The utilities cover approximately 310 square miles and consist of 77 lift stations, over 300 miles of gravity lines, over 190,000 linear feet of force mains, and approximately 15,000 service connections.

“We are delighted and honored that this prestigious company has placed their confidence in ESG by awarding us this important contract, and we look forward to delivering exceptional services to these wastewater utilities. Our dedicated transition team will ensure a smooth and seamless transition process, and we are excited for the opportunity to bring our award-winning project delivery approach to these South Carolina wastewater utilities,” commented J. Clay Sykes, P.E., ESG co-founder and principal.

The three wastewater utilities will be managed by a staff of 29 associates who will operate and maintain the wastewater treatment plants, perform collection field services, line locates and field customer service.
